About Allison Liigsoo
I have always been fascinated by puzzles. It is truly exhilarating to analyze and decipher patterns to predict future outcomes and solve problems through logical thinking.Through being in the honors college at Miami University, I was able to learn about puzzle creation and the vast variations that exist through a class that was offered called Beyond Sudoku. In this class, I learned how to solve different types of puzzles and how to create my own versions of them. This class inspired me to look at the world around me and how I can implement what I learned in class into my daily life. I realized that what I would learn in class applied to my future career: looking at data in the past, and being able to use it in the future to create something new. Around campus outside of the classroom, I am the president for the Information Systems and Analytics organization, which is a group of ISA-related majors, where we learn about different career opportunities for our future, listen to advice from panels, and create friendships with others with similar majors. I am also the treasurer for the national service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, where I am in charge of all the funds that the chapter collects, such as dues and fundraisers, and making sure that we are spending our money wisely.I am actively looking for internships for the summer of 2025.
