I've had a way with the written word for as long as I can remember—at age nine, I started my own "school" newspaper with a friend. We had a total circulation of four readers. My four+ years in the magazine industry with one of Alberta's premier publishers has allowed me to develop my skills both as a writer and editor. I have a keen eye for copy-editing; hunting for grammatical and spelling errors is a challenge I actually wholeheartedly enjoy.My time at Eastlink gave me the opportunity to build on my online roles at RedPoint Media. During my four years there, I managed Eastlink's email marketing, Facebook page, Google Adwords and MyEastlink.ca (a portal for current customers).All of my experience in marketing and communications has culminated in my current role at Protocase. Our company helps engineers, researchers and innovators keep their projects on track and meet their deadlines by custom manufacturing the sheet metal and CNC machined parts and enclosures they need. No matter the medium, I believe writing needs to be clear and authentic.Outside of my work at Protocase and ProtoSpace Mfg, I love to spend time with my family (and my dog, Taffy!). I enjoy cooking and baking, going for beach walks, reading and watching comedies.
