Acted as Chair of the Organizing Committee and was responsible for growing participation in Kitchener’s Festival of Neighbourhoods, a year-long community engagement / inclusion project backed by the City of Kitchener. Led an initiative to simplify the registration process to lower barriers to participation. Worked with Rogers TV to create a local television segment to improve awareness of the project.
