My passion for teaching Yoga of all abilities began in 2010 when I noticed positive changes in my classroom that was predominately students with behavioral struggles. Yoga programs can offer children, adults, special populations, and seniors an opportunity to embrace their uniqueness and support their strengths. The ability to focus and bring mental calmness to oneself opens up a world of opportunities. I believe that anyone has the power and ability to do great things no matter what obstacles they face.

I continue to oversee the activities of support staff and other educators to ensure the needs of the special education students are being met.

For American Leisure, I increased community relations for the Asbury Park Waterfront (developed by iStar) a massive renovation of one of New Jersey’s most distinctive and iconic landmarks which includes ongoing newly constructed shops and apartments. I managed a large budget and team of 40 seasonal ambassadors driving improved public perception through local engagements/events, community outreach, and social media management. During my time with American Leisure, I expanded our relationships with the local community of Asbury Park. I created, organized and was the driving force behind multiple fundraising events. In this role I began multiple community outreach programs that included mentoring programs for the Boys and Girls Club, Yoga and fitness programs for the diverse populations in Asbury, food drives and volunteering to feed the hungry and homeless throughout Asbury Park.
