Central Elementary School

Working with K-4 struggling readers in a 30 min daily small-group setting (2:1 or 3:1). Primary instruction in Grades K, 1, & 2 utilizes Pearson's My Sidewalks Intervention Program, with supplementation from Words Their Way, Read Naturally, etc. 3rd and 4th grade utilize Fountas & Pinnell's Leveled Literacy Intervention Program. Lessons provide instruction and practice in fluent reading, vocabulary, phonics and phonemic awareness, and comprehension, while exposing students to reading strategies necessary for reading improvement. Utilize assessment tools to track students' progress, such as ISEL, Darrell Morris' IRI, and AIMSWeb.Initiate the RTI process and refer for further assessments when necessary.

Greater Chicago Area

Private at-home tutoring after-school and on weekends for students from Kindergarten through High School. Areas of expertise include reading/writing instruction and math instruction. Lessons are tailored to fit student's needs and parents' desires. May include homework assistance, test preparation, and/or lessons designed to strengthen skills in areas needing improvement.References available upon request.

Noble Network Of Charter Schools

Collaborated to co-create curriculum using Backwards Design, with alignment to the College Readiness Standards, instructing 10th grade students in both Algebra 2 and Geometry. Modified and accommodated instruction for students with varying learning disabilities and taught applicable strategies. Additionally, advised and supported a female junior advisory academically, behaviorally, and emotionally.
