I assist the patients and fellow employees of a medical office specializing in medical grade compression garments. My responsibilities include maintaining the office’s schedule, taking incoming phone calls and transferring calls to the correct department when necessary, taking patient payments, keeping patient charts organized and up-to-date, preparing paperwork for patient billing, verifying and checking in office and medical supplies and ensuring positive patient interactions. I also assist with placing orders and obtaining the documentation necessary to bill patient's insurance.

I assist in supervising partners throughout the work day in order to assure all store operations are running smoothly. My responsibilities include cash handling; such as, balancing tills and the safe, gathering deposits and completing money orders. I also take inventory of the store supplies and place truck orders when necessary.

I supervise the crew throughout the work day whilst maintaining the satisfaction of our guests. My responsibilities also include taking inventory of the supplies in the store, placing truck orders, calculating and tracking sales, keeping store metrics within compliance of company standards and creating the weekly schedule for crew and managers.

My responsibilities included opening and closing the store, cash handling such as counting the safe, performing end-of-day tasks and counting a deposit to be brought to the bank, keeping track of the needs of our staff and customers throughout the work day and filling in positions when necessary such as baking and sandwich making.

“Zygomatic Fracture” by Judith Kaufmann and Denise Ramponi (April 2014 to November 2014)I worked with Dr. Ramponi in order to create illustrations of a zygomatic fracture in the cheek of a hockey player. With her help, I researched the fracture and created and labeled a drawing that would effectively illustrate her article. This illustration was then published to the Advanced Emergency Nursing Journal.“Instusseception” by Judith Kaufmann and Denise Ramponi (November 2013 to August 2014)I worked with Dr. Ramponi in order to create illustrations of her article about instusseception of the intestines. I worked with her in and out of class in order to research the topic and create and label two drawings that would effectively illustrate her article. These illustrations were then published to the Advanced Emergency Nursing Journal.
