Between November 2014 and March of 2017, I was the General Ledger Lead, implementing a new Oracle PeopleSoft accounting solution. Initial implementation for all 237 State agencies was completed February 1st 2016. Tasks included reviewing all GL configuration work units, functional and build designs, agency communications, training work units and other critical GL work for accuracy and necessary updates. I also trained agencies on various GL tasks and assisted in creating an Accounting Fundamentals class for financial staff throughout the Commonwealth. Between December 2013 and November 2014, I was the liaison between the Project and the State’s central General Accounting unit coordinating numerous tasks.
