About Allison Ramsay
I am a highly motivated, responsible individual with corporate and freelance experience, both presential and remote. Born and raised in South Africa, I left everything and everyone I knew and came to Chile at 27 years old to pursue my passion for wine, which I had been studying through the Cape Wine Academy, unable to speak Spanish, and not knowing anyone. Through sheer grit and determination, I have made Chile my home, learned to speak Spanish, and along the way, built character. With my roots firmly planted in the creative realm, and having entrepreneurial experience, I have grown to also enjoy the business environment and bring to it my varied skills with enthusiasm and a hunger to learn. I have proudly represented my country, working for the South African Embassy in Santiago, Chile. I have a passion for cooking and baking and went on to win the Chilean Version of the "Bake Off" franchise in 2018. Thanks to the pandemic, I branched out into sales and account management, and by virtue of the remote nature of business, which I believe is the way forward, I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to move to the forest in the beautiful south of Chile. I believe that new and exciting experiences make life more interesting, and I look forward to what the future holds.
