I am not your average business professional.Of course, I have strong writing abilities. I geek out over cool changes in the workplace and I even proofread my text messages for accuracy. But my talents extend beyond words and accurate policy endorsements. I love engaging with clients and making sure they understand the benefit of our amazing product. I'm an experienced businesswoman who's articulate and focused on what matters; maintaining the business I have and expanding sales with client focused service and an excellent product.My career began in the mail-room at AIG where I was hired on as a temp. I quickly showed my proficiency as an employee and was hired on to the Legal Collections department as a Secretary. After that, I was promoted to a collector in that same department and I worked there for a 4 years while I obtained a degree at night. Once I graduated I transferred to Underwriting where I worked for an additional 5 of years. In 2006, I moved to Alabama for my husband. The job market is quite different from Los Angeles, as you can imagine! I have worked a few temporary assignments with a temp agency and some were seasonal positions. It's vibrant living in a college town and I love my new home. Working at World Market was a great lesson in sales and team leadership! They had me train new employees because I'm accurate, detailed and precise. I was also in charge of ordering paper monthly for the POS department and maintenance of it’s supplies.
