Performed structural analysis on a spacecraft nozzle fuel manifold as part of a team analyzing other parts within the nozzle. Developed an automated tool to calculate combined margin of safety, replacing customer’s Excel sheet and facilitating fast iteration over design/loading changes and allowing for visualization within FEMAP.Incorporated design changes and created drawings for spacecraft control surfaces-- used NX CAD to modify existing solid models of top-level assemblies and piece parts; created drawings from those models, including GD&T.Performed structural analysis of winged reusable spaceplane subassemblies with finite element and hand analysis using FEMAP and Excel.Designed and analyzed launch vehicle assembly tooling-- used NX CAD, Altair Inspire, and MathCAD to design, create drawings for, analyze (FEA and hand calculations), and author stress report document for welded steel structure used to support large launch vehicle assemblies.Performed finite element analysis on commercial aircraft passenger furniture using FEMAP for aircraft certification.Developed tool for durability analysis and postprocessing in FEMAPWorked closely with customer team to develop a tool to automate inspection balloon placement on drawings and create an inspection plan spreadsheet with dimensions and tolerances for inclusion in ERP system.
