I worked as an RBT at Circle City ABA from 2019-2020.I worked with Children with Autism and their families. I worked mostly with non-verbal children, to help them learn how to communicate. I had success starting with partial syllables and using a PECS book. I developed trust and confidence with my clients. I tracked data based on the reinforcement used, positive or negative, and behaviors. I used this data to communicate with my client’s BCBA so they were able to use it to adjust their behavior / Development plans to the needs of the child. I then adjusted to the task at hand or the pace. This position required patience, empathy, attention to detail, and willingness to adapt to the needs of the client.
