I am currently a senior majoring in Movement and Sports Studies. I also have a dual minor in Health Promotion and Marketing. I previously majored in Physical Education and Health Education during my first three years. This is where I have conducted a series of classes for students at Glickman Elementary School, Thomas M. Balliet Elementary School, Agawam High School and Longmeadow High School. I have had to strategically plan out lessons for special education students in order to teach them the importance of Physical and Health education. I have acquired the ability to create a positive environment where students are excited to learn. However, I have decided to shift my focus to working in community-based agencies. I hope to expand my knowledge in learning how to market these settings. I am currently interested in an internship opportunity where I can use my marketing and critical thinking skills to promote these organizations in order for them to reach their highest potential.
