The Harvest Table (HT) Student Board of Directors is a task force of student representatives from each of HT's university partners who provide feedback on their dining program. We serve as student liaisons between HT, our university dining team, and the student body to make dining run more smoothly for everyone. In this position, I:- Held bimonthly meetings with University of Rochester Dining Team to give feedback on dining programs- Assembled a team and launched a smart dining system hackathon project: a website that analyzes dining menu data to create insights on menu accessibility, given the dietary restrictions of the student body- Our team was awarded 2nd place in the UofR Dandy Hacks Competition after presenting in front of a panel of judges

In this summer internship, I partnered with a Research Fellow mentor at the Brown Center for Biomedical Informatics to conduct a nutrigenetics text analytics study. Over the course of the summer, I:- Queried and analyzed PubMed metadata using Julia Language and MySQL- Conducted statistical analysis to synthesize insights on nutritional-pharmacological associations- Was selected as one of 14 High School Scholars to present at AMIA (American Medical Informatics Association) 2019 Annual Symposium in Washington D.C.
