Dark Heart Industries owns and operates several brands and subsidiaries in California's legal cannabis sector. When I took this position, I was warned that it might be a short-term position due to the fact Dark Heart was facing financial perils. I decided to take a chance and quickly grew to love my position in Marketing. Sadly, after a short stint, the staff was released because of financial ramifications. While I was there, I was able to learn and accomplish a lot. I managed the social media platforms, wrote internal blogs for use on the company's website, and helped to plan and execute a major multi-day and multi-location event.

Recreational Equipment, Inc., commonly known as REI, is an American retail and outdoor recreation services corporation. It is organized as a consumers' co-operative. REI sells sporting goods, camping gear, travel equipment, and clothing. It also offers services such as outdoor-oriented vacations and courses. For over 2 years, I served as an Event Host (promoted In-Store and Off-Site Classes) Customer Service Specialist (Handled "escalated" Customer Service issues) and Membership Sales (continually Exceeded Quota).

I began as an Aquatics Counselor and as I hit the minimum age requirement, was quickly promoted to the Aquatics Director position. Managing a team of 4 counselors below me, I coached them on how to better counsel merit badges, perform both on-land and in-water rescues, and how to interact with the scouts in a fun and engaging way. As Director, I wrote and executed all pieces of staff training, emergency procedures, lesson plans, and adult leader safety certifications.
