From over 13 years as a senior healthcare consultant/employee specializing in electronic health record implementations and 8 years of graduate and university teaching/research experience, I excel at applying a variety of skills to explore complex problems and create solutions. Furthermore, I am adept at communicating sophisticated information appropriately to a variety of audiences. My work on EHR projects (both inpatient and ambulatory) provides me with extensive experience in all phases of implementations (i.e., from initial design, build, and validation sessions, to GoLive and decision support, and ongoing system optimization and maintenance). I’ve successfully worked with all types of end-users (e.g. physicians, pharmacists, technicians, administrators) and also served as a liaison between IT analysts and clinical stakeholders.
