Trained and oversaw 30 counselors and junior counselors. Responsible for general well-being of campers, both physically and emotionally. Organized outdoor activities for campers ages 4-12 which included arts and crafts, games, and icebreakers. Planned and implemented camp-wide activities for 150 campers. Motivated campers to participate in daily activities. Cleaned and organized cabins, sports equipment, and arts and crafts materials.

Working one-on-one with special needs students in grades 6 through 8. Providing direct instruction for these students as well as supporting teachers with their lessons in the general education classrooms.

Develop and implement daily lessons for Freshmen and Junior English classes. Develop and evaluate an original unit plan. Oversee the general well-being of residents on my floor. Plan and execute various programs to promote community, awareness, and personal development. Meet with students one on one to develop a relationship. Mediate issues between roommates or any areas of conflict. Participate in on-call rounds to oversee safety of the building and its residents.

Educated students about various brainstorming, research, writing, and editing strategies. Provided support for students working on any writing project which included classroom essays and applications for organizations

Provided one-on-one support for sixth grade students in English Language Arts class. Worked closely with students learning English as a second language and those with various learning disabilities. Organized and ran activities for school’s first field day.

Served as go to person for any last minute details needed to ensure that the event followed according to plan. Assembled wedding gift bags, programs, and invitations. Aided with wedding set-up and take-down.
