Working in the online healthcare space over the last few years has taught me many things about myself and my passions, here's a few!1. I would do this job for free! I am truly passionate about the work that I do with my clients. Even in my spare time you can find me practicing what I preach, listening to a podcast or with a book in my hand.2. I have worked for several health tech start ups and love being a part of a team invested in the work they do, constantly looking for new ways to innovate this space. I thrive in the fast paced environment and love having hundreds of slack notifications a day.3. Over the last year I've become an avid hiker and you can find me on any long weekend trekking up a mountain in one of America's national parks for "fun".4. My journey into this industry is a personal one. I had my own "come to Jesus" moment with health and wellness in college when i hired my first online coach. My life and perspective on health and fitness was so positively impacted I almost immediately changed my college major and dove head first into health coaching to share with others what I had learned.5. After working with hundreds if not thousands of clients in my career I decided to go back to school to pursue a degree in psychology. So many people know what they should be doing in terms of their nutrition and overall health and wellness, but figuring out the "how" is really what limits people and I want to become the best I can at helping my clients overcome that barrier.
