● Cabinet level leader on the STCM leadership team setting organizational strategy and priorities that supported more than 150 school leaders throughout Milwaukee.● Designed, secured funds, and executed the 60 participant STCM Emerging Leaders Program.● Created, secured funds, and managed the Alverno/STCM Leadership Development Program, ensuring high-quality training and leadership preparation for more than 35 future STCM principals. ● In partnership with the Executive Director, fundraised more than $5 million dollars in three years. In absence of the ED, raised more than $1.5 million in one week during the April 2013 STCM challenge grant. ● Designed and implemented the 2014 STCM recruitment weekend to recruit 50 school leaders from across the country to Milwaukee. 14 new hires, all from outside of Milwaukee, came from this recruitment weekend.● Recruited and placed 28 leaders to the STCM network during the 2013-14 school year; recruited and placed 19 leaders to the STCM network during the 2014-15 school year.● Managed human capital for the organization. Created all job descriptions, hiring processes, and interview protocols/exercises for the STCM team. Managed the recruitment, admissions, and hiring of more than a dozen staff members over three years.

I managed program delivery, candidate recruitment and admissions, fundraising, internal systems and operations, and client engagement with the district, state, Mayor’s office, education management organizations, Chicago Network Chiefs and funders.

· Liaison to 15 small schools on behalf of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation; collected data through surveys, student work, teacher assignments, and school site visits to report on school development, reforms, challenges, and successes. · Managed policy concerning No Child Left Behind for the Ohio Department of Education; organized state- wide standards setting for multiple assessments, grades 3 to 8. Presented findings to Ohio's Technical Advisory Board; led teacher professional development trainings on diagnostic assessments statewide. · Collaborated with the National Assessment Governing Board and managed the National Assessment of the Educational Progress Civics 5 grade assessment. Conducted focus groups, directed item development, led cognitive labs, and managed item review meetings. · Nominated and accepted to the Institute for Educational Leadership's Education Fellowship Program.

· Researched education standards, assessments, and teacher certification policies. · Briefed state superintendents on state alignment to the No Child Left Behind legislation. · Authored a successful grant for Achieve's Mathematics Achievement Partnership (MAP) program sponsored by the National Science Foundation.
