TORA is Asia's leading SaaS financial software provider to buy-side alternative asset managers. * Coordinated a cross-functional team of software engineers, sales, product managers, professional services and support, bringing leadership and direction, delivering company's flagship portfolio and post-trade management solutions with strategic vision and increasing overall quality for clients. * Conducted periodic client visit meetings to gather user experience feedback. Evolution is an alternative asset manager focused on pan-Asia markets. * Joined Evolution at inception and built Evolution's operation workflow, team and a proprietary middle-to-back office system in support of global multi-asset class trading strategies. Instrumental in enterprise infrastructure carrying Evolution's rapid growth from a startup hedge fund to $1Bil+ in <5y. * Personally coded Evolution's first middle-to-back office system using Microsoft Access. As the business grew, led a team of engineers in recreating and iterating the proprietary system two more rounds using Java and Sybase database. * Created and maintained operation processes from single custodian to multi-accounts, SMAs, multi-prime and multi-currency with products ranging from plain vanilla to complex structured deals. * Implemented the process and trained staff in handling fund operational tasks like trade processing & settlement, P&L calculation and reconciliation against custodians, performance tracking and attribution analysis, fund accounting, investor reporting, as well as onboarding new custodians and SMAs.* Developed and maintained Evolution's portfolio risk metrics, including value at risk (VaR), liquidity analysis, exposure analysis, stress testing, scenario analysis, etc. with daily risk reports highly recognized by investor due diligence checks. * Led the firm-wide implementation of the Sungard's FRONT AREA portfolio system over Citrix platform, enabling real-time portfolio and risk monitoring across five offices and 10+ trading desks around the globe (Asia/Europe/US).
