CurrentAs Director of the Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) program at the Heinz College at Carnegie Mellon, I am responsible for marketing & recruiting for this program; establishing educational partnerships with corporations, govt agencies & peer universities; advising prospective & current students; and overseeing daily operations. This is a part-time evening and online graduate program for experienced IT professionals to advance their career in IT Management, Information Security & Assurance, Business Intel/Data Analytics, or Software Design & Management. MSIT alumni can update knowledge/skills with half-price courses after graduation. I am happy to talk with prospective students or potential partner organizations. Our current partners include the FBI, GM, Intel, Lockheed Martin, Qualcomm, Boeing, Pittsburgh Tech Council and Women's Society of Cyberjutsu. We also have a dual degree with Tecnológico de Monterrey. Since 2001, the MSIT student body has grown from 50 to over 150 enrolled students.
