Allison Augustyn (She/Her) is a Strategic Development and Fundraising at South Seattle Emerald. She possess expertise in editing, fundraising, museums, publishing, journalism and 35 more skills. She is proficient in English. Colleagues describe her as "Allison provided much perspective and needed support in my final studio project. My focus was providing rapid re-housing solutions for climate migrants, and she was so incredibly generous with her experience and time in helping me fine-tune my work and challenge my assumptions. Even though I was doing very well in the course and the project, Allison pushed me to revisit my metrics and question how to go beyond simply presenting a solution rather than a project that would create interest and extend to greater understanding and sharing. Most importantly, Allison created an environment where I felt comfortable leading the conversation about my research and seeking help when needed. I remember being stuck on the budget exercise of the proposal and feeling very discouraged. Allison didn’t talk me out of my feelings, rather asking a few key simple questions to get me back in the game.
