I developed and designed presentation topics for upcoming seminars on physical and emotional well-being. In addition, I organized and coordinated events and speakers, while I negotiated pricing for all aspects of events. Other responsibilities included but are not limited to plan, schedule and develop business and community relations, budgets and detailed business plans.

While volunteering with Fresh Start, I support staff and prepare patients for laser treatments. I have the opportunity to develop rapport and therapeutically communicate with patients and families prior to surgical treatments and during their follow-up care. I corroborate with physicians, nurses and other support staff to prepare patients and their charts before and after appointments. I have also had the opportunity to monitor surgical times during procedure and use Sterile Processing to prepare rooms prior to treatments. Received 2008 Fresh Start Surgical Gifts Spotlight Award

I had the unique opportunity to volunteer at a home for malnourished children. I assessed adults and children for medical needs and assisted with breathing treatments. I also provided educational and wellness activities for children and families. Additionally, I accompanied children to hospital and doctor appointments.

As a member of the team at Dr. Kamenetsky's office, I collected patient medical history and vital health information. I also assisted with minor surgical procedures. In addition, I performed general reception duties, prepared patient charts and produced and documented office protocols manual.

I assisted the Radiologist, diagnostic Imaging technicians and Registered Nurses. I notified patients and/or physician offices of appropriate preparation for exams. I also reviewed and distributed transcribed reports (maintaining HIPAA), as well as scheduled appointments for multiple diagnostic service areas. In addition, I trained and oriented new employees.
