I worked in the centralised Group Strategy division across a diverse portfolio of projects covering, organisational transformation, business process improvement, mobility, compliance, tourism, property and construction, IT and digital transformation, and customer services. My role involved working closely with project owners and key stakeholders to support the implementation of projects that deliver strategic goals and return on investment. I had oversight of project strategies and execution processes from initiation and business case through to operationalization and closure, with accountability for project assurance and governance of deliverables, milestones, budgets, and change management strategies.This involves support to develop business cases, stakeholder engagement and leading risk management and lessons learned workshops. I conduct project health checks reviews, providing recommendations to overcome roadblocks, risks and challenges to set projects up for success and outcomes.

This was a sustainability-focused project designed to trial a shared mobility business at a university, I was responsible for end-to-end project management which included business design and implementation to ensure strategic alignment with business goals.My role involved developing and executing the business strategy covering vendor management, contract negotiation, the payment platform, marketing and branding along with data collection and analysis to inform future business strategy. Stakeholder engagement was a key aspect of this role including relationship management and legal negotiation with the Department of Transport, the University and other stakeholders across the business to achieve strategic and operational goals.

Viacom International Media Networks is the African subsidiary of multimedia entertainment brands MTV Base Africa, MTV, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon for Africa, VH1 Classic and BET International. I was the clientside project manager for a TV show filmed in seven different countries. I had ownership of the budget, schedule and external stakeholder relationships including the external production company, the major sponsor (telecoms company) and digital vendors to deliver campaign requirements.The role involved working collaboratively with sales, advertising, creative, marketing, PR and scheduling to achieve project goals.

My roles and projects included: Production Manager: Media Production as part of a $20m Hotel Launch for Atlantis the Palm DubaiThe production involved leadership of local and overseas crew, a media centre and production including helicopters and aerial photography. Accountable for strategies and execution, I managed this complex production meeting clients goals and deliverables. Producer: Tourism, Marketing, Hotel In-Room Videos, Corporate Videos, Marketing & PR and International ProductionsI managed the development of projects through to post-production and supported international productions to achieve their production goals as their local producer.

Dubai’s first English language broadcast channel, I started as the exec producer of two live shows and was then trained and worked as the studio director and vision mixer for these. This involved working collaboratively to drive the creative direction to develop and create two daily live broadcast productions (a breakfast show and a women’s talk show) including live studio broadcasts and pre-recorded inserts to produce engaging content.I led a team of researchers, producers, crew and talent to plan and deliver content aligned with trending topics and managed studio operations for live broadcasts to deliver four hours of live TV daily, five days a week.

A high-profile media and television production company with diverse expertise, I worked on a range of projects with highlights including:Exhibition Project Manager & Curator: Reconciliation Exhibitions I managed the curation and installation of culturally and politically sensitive exhibitions (permanent and travelling), to coincide with 10 years of freedom in South Africa including ‘A Prisoner in the Garden” for the Nelson Mandela Foundation and the permanent exhibitions at Constitution Hill. I was accountable for overall exhibition deliverables, research, creative development, production and installation, collections, tour design, text guides, and multi-media content meeting budget and schedule.Line Producer: TV and Radio Series for the South African version of Sesame Street ‘Takalani Sesame’ for Sesame WorkshopI managed three seasons (39 episodes) with full responsibility from pre-production to broadcast delivery. This involved working with stakeholders from Sesame Workshop, the South African Department of Education curriculum developers and Ochre script writers to deliver localised and relevant content meeting brand guidelines. The series included studio and location filming, animation, dubbing, music production and radio production.
