In my role, I led the corporate digital strategy to support the company's goals and initiatives. In order to achieve that, I launched our corporate presence on numerous social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and YouTube to drive brand affinity and grow online audiences. I partnered with various functions across the business to build results-driven campaigns and deliver analytics reports to measure performance. Beyond social media strategy, I also oversaw the corporate website content management and identified opportunities to align this web property with our evolving digital strategy.

In this role, I managed the organization's corporate social media channels. Specifically, I produced and published all organic content for the official Stanford Health Care Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. Beyond that, I oversaw the governance and implemented a response protocol to monitor activity on these channels over time. I also provided strategic counsel to internal clients across the organization to help effectively communicate messages on a multitude of channels. I maintained the master internal communications content calendar and lead the content development for the company's intranet homepage, email newsletters and print publications.

I wrote and edited all employee-facing communications on behalf of executive leadership and a broad range of internal clients. My responsibilities included drafting company-wide emails for C-level executives, writing scripts for strategic leadership videos on a quarterly basis, assisting with video production, and coordinating/gathering all relevant announcement material from various stakeholders to manage all global quarterly Town Hall meetings.

I wrote and edited copy for the company website, social channels, marketing and press materials, email campaigns, etc. I also managed all branding efforts through creating and maintaining company content marketing style guide. Additionally, as the company grew, I drove internal communications strategies to better align employees with company initiatives.I also co-managed a wide variety of private and public events with primary responsibilities including organizing content, calling for speakers, promoting event, securing marketing materials, etc. As the company spokeswoman, I fielded all media inquiries and managed any press-related components of these events.

I managed the content, process and editorial calendar for BD's corporate intranet homepage and developed the protocol for news submission requests worldwide. To generate new content, I interviewed top executives to gather strategic messages and draft compelling feature stories to engage a global audience. As the project manager of the 2013 Annual Report, I conducted meetings with all C-level executives to establish core themes and messages for FY13. I co-authored the CEO's letter to shareholders and collaborated with the design vendor on a regular basis to aesthetically carry out all key ideas. Additionally, I served as a member of the social media strategy team which provides guidance and oversight for BD's global social media presence on Facebook, LinkedIn and Glassdoor. Using competitive research, I authored BD's corporate Twitter engagement plan. I was responsible for translating Spanish language posts on the corporate Facebook page. I also copyedited BD's first leadership development program recruitment blog. In an effort to promote a positive corporate reputation, I facilitated all award submissions on behalf of BD and secured permissions / licenses for external publication (online and print). I served as the corporate translator for Spanish media inquiries.

I accepted a part-time post-internship role while completing my final year of undergraduate study. My responsibilities included: -refreshing and revamping my research on comparative industry social media practices in biotech, pharmaceutical and medical device companies-conducting follow-on research of social media platforms specifically to monitor channel reach and velocity -drafting/editing intranet feature articles for internal publicationAdditionally, I highlighted the need for corporate Spanish language capabilities by translating posts and drafting responses on the corporate Facebook page and translating intranet content to serve BD's global employee base.

During my internship, I edited and wrote articles for the corporate intranet, managed website content and assisted in developing strategies for the corporate intranet redesign project. My role included drafting executive biographies and communicating with managers around the world to write/update global site overviews. While researching competing Biotech, Pharmaceutical and Medical Device companies' social media platforms, I created a management tracking document to monitor the reach and velocity of the channels. I also monitored escalations of company press surrounding corporate news (i.e. quarterly earnings, acquisitions, etc.).
