I have been conducting archaeological survey and data recovery for more than 9 years in multiple states. My survey, data recovery, and monitoring experience includes work for the USFS, BLM, BIA, the Department of Defense, NPS, NRCS, SRP, APS, as well as private and public entities such as Salt River Project, San Carlos Irrigation Project, Arizona Public Service, and George Cairo Engineering, Inc.). I am adept at Class I literature reviews (desktop reviews) and at intensive Class III block and linear surveys, cultural resource monitoring, in-field artifact identification, site recording and mapping, private and commercial building historic properties surveys, assessing cultural resources for the NRHP, and evaluating numerous cultural resources sites covering all periods. I also have experience working on culturally-sensitive sites in Arizona that included the excavation and collection of pre-contact cultural remains and human remains. My lab work includes washing, sorting, counting, and curating artifacts per state and repository standards and guidelines. Additionally, I have experience in conducting preservation studies on historic building properties and completing in-depth and exhaustive background research on those properties for projects in small communities and large cities. I am familiar with the National Register eligibility criteria when it involves historic buildings and structures.
