I am a people person, who enjoys new cultures and opportunites, and a good challenge to boot. My twenty years in the workforce in a variety of organizations in program operation and management roles, has exposed me to many faucets of what makes a program/ service successful. They run the gamut from direct service to clients, to process improvement/development and strategic planning, to volunteer management. A little of everything, if you will. In reality, I thrive in a creative collaborative environment. On a personal level, my natural curiosity of other cultures led me to live abroad twice, living with a local family and attending school, as well as traveling the globe. Seeing the world from these different lenses helped me evolve personally, and honed in on my ability to relate to a cross-cultural population. It had a strong influence that shaped my interest in the humanitarian service-based professional world.Core Competencies/ strengths:Outcome based client servicesNew Program DevelopmentTeam/peer leadershipContinuous ImprovementCommittee faciliatationStrategic Planning & ImplementationVolunteer and Staff SupervisionTeam Building and LeadershipAdministrative Functions OversightCultural AwarenessConversational Spanish
