Manage all human resource activities for a manufacturing corporation with 130-170 employees. Manage all safety and environmental safety aspects for the company. Supervise a team of professionals to ensure all human resource functions are in compliance and represented fairly and consistently. Perform all phases of the hiring process by advertising, evaluating and recruiting for hourly and salary positions. Determine proficiency levels of applicants by conducting skills testing to ensure the best candidates are chosen to perform to company standards. Prepare reports and record statistics for quality improvement programs. Conduct employee surveys, trend safety incidents and conduct workers compensation analysis to enhance quality improvement, communication and workers compensation rates. Eliminate legal interference by creating state and government compliant policies and procedures enabling managers and employees a better understanding of company mission. Serve as a liaison to the environmental protection agency to ensure compliance in environmental matters. Ensure licensing, permitting and reporting to state and federal agencies are current and compliant. Lead the safety committee to ensure facility is in compliance with OSHA standards and regulations and to ensure safety is a primary focus. Create and maintain the emergency and contingency plans to ensure employee safety and wellbeing. Maintain security monitoring of facility.
