Founded in 1971, Knowledge Alliance is composed of leading education organizations that share the belief that high-quality, relevant research is critical to solving education problems facing our country today.

Allison focuses on issues related to evaluation and planning, predictive analytics, extended learning opportunities, social emotional learning, and Native American education. Allison leads Bellwether's evaluation work on a variety of multi-year initiatives, including Bellwether's partnership in the federally-funded National Comprehensive Center, Bellwether's evaluation of the Region 6 Comprehensive Center serving NC, SC, and GA, and the quasi-experimental evaluation of a portfolio of Charter School Program replication and expansion grants. She has also provided evaluation and capacity-building support for a national teacher advocacy fellowship, several national nonprofit organizations, and the National Summer Learning Project funded by The Wallace Foundation.

Worked intensively with fellow Directors to usher Maine's first charter high school through rigorous process of approval with the Maine Charter School Commission resulting in unanimous approval on May 7, 2013. Assisted in hiring process for school leadership, enhancement of academic programming, evaluation of school and student progress, and alignment of resources to support these. Contributed to community outreach, recruitment, and communication efforts. Provided support as school grew to 400 students and received unprecedented 10-year renewal approval from the Commission.

Using predictive analytics to model attitudes, preferences, and perceptions of educators and students, enabling targeted interventions at scale and hyper-targeted individual engagement.
