Allison is the President/COO and one of the founders of ADVANTAGES Digital Learning Solutions. ADVANTAGES, established in 2007, offers three solutions — an award-winning, fully accredited online school for students, the world’s leading Student Information System for districts and school groups, and customized academic programs for education partners. ADVANTAGES has graduated thousands of students and has a presence in over 30 countries.Allison has a broad educational background and has more than a decade of teaching experience at the primary, secondary and university level, in both online and “brick and mortar” settings. She also has experience in online curriculum development for the National University Teaching Department and is the 2019 recipient of Nevada's Educator of the Year from NCET, Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology.Allison has a Master of Education from University of LaVerne and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication. She is certified as a Reading and Language Arts specialist, she has Multiple Subject Teaching Credentials and also holds a CLAD certificate which emphasizes teaching in multicultural environments. At ADVANTAGES, her responsibilities include overseeing staff and company management and the private school partnerships. Allison coordinates and maintains all training programs for both domestic and international schools, manages the technical and legal subjects related to ADLS, oversees the financial and legal matters, as well as the daunting accreditation process, implementing features to help partner schools through the same.
