Allison Farrow is a Program Analyst who partners with scientists (predominantly astronomers) within the National Science Foundation (NSF) and its academic-interest community nationwide. NSF supports basic research and people to create knowledge that transforms the future. After serving three years with the Transportation Security Administration airport security at Washington Dulles International Airport and three years as a Senior Park Ranger in Northern Virginia, Allison knows how to connect with people and communicate understanding back to them.In addition to her federal government work, Allison is a 5-year certified Virginia Master Naturalist and is a professional pet sitter with Fetch! Pet Care for 5 years. Allison holds a BA in environmental studies from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College, an AAS in business management at Northern Virginia Community College, as well as several certificates as seen below, including Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2021.
