I have worked for Fairfax County Government, Fairfax County Public Schools, and private businesses large and small. I have also held managerial positions since I was fresh out of college. I have a true passion for people! My empathy makes me a great natural leader, whether or not that is my official title. I also bring value as an experienced community organizer to help employees engage and give back to the local community. As a result of my unique journey I have become a jack of all trades. I enjoy the challenge of learning new things, and the gratification of creating a successful product for others to enjoy. I believe that working in teams with individuals of diverse backgrounds creates the most successful product in any situation. I aspire to elevate and showcase the work of those around me in all things. I am not one for the spotlight but prefer to keep my head down, find solutions to unique puzzles, and create results. Above all, I believe firmly in the writing of Grantland Rice that "When the One Great Scorer comes to mark against your name, he writes - not that you won or lost, but how you played the Game."In my off time, I have been embedded in the competitive Northern Virginia Basketball environment since the early 2000s where I have passionately pursued volunteer coaching, managing and athletic administration. I have a variety of experience in high school, NCAA Division I, and high end recreational (AAU/travel) men's basketball, focusing on organizational success and individual player development. Never one to sit still, I volunteer as a designer and producer in the robust NOVA theatre community where I have received recognition for both my design and organizational impact.
