My current responsibilities include:- Implementing new front-end features for customer-facing and company-facing UIs by creating reusable Vue.js components, supporting complex state management with Vuex.- Implementing new features with Laravel, including creating migrations, generating new models, new endpoints and corresponding controllers, managing HTTP request validation, and making use of actions and services to keep controllers uncluttered.- Creating bespoke PDF reports with Blade and custom Excel reports with Laravel Excel. Maintaining existing PDF and Excel reports.- Writing API feature/unit tests (Pest). Creating new model factories, seeders and helpers as necessary.- Creating Artisan commands with Laravel for database data cleaning.- Monitoring Sentry error logs and collaborating with support team to identify and investigate support queries and applying bug fixes where necessary.- Completing allocated tickets within Sprint timeframes, reporting on progress in daily stand-up, and contributing to retrospective. Tracking ongoing issues to raise and resolve in Engineering-weekly meeting.- Maintaining version control with Git using Gitlab. Creating releases and app version control for UI in Gitlab. Deploying features and bug fixes by VPN to the staging server for testing.
