Proudly representing the mission of providing an array of medical services to the un and under-insured residents of the greater San Diego region. Much of this effort involved is engaging patients directly and I am discovering a sweet spot for building partnerships between FHCSD and other important community-based organizations. The role is enhancing my affinity for actualizing strategic visioning and I am excited to see what will unfold as I gain expertise in this skill set.

San Diego’s only Outdoor School teaching 13,000 students a year in outdoor experiences focusing on science education paired with social learning. Social learning topics include character building through class leadership, teamwork and social responsibility. Outdoor EducatorResponsible for the oversight, teaching and safety of groups of 6ths graders, ranging in size from 15-20 students, for a weeklong outdoor education experience focused on STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education combined with the social learning necessary for 6th graders to effectively mature in the pre-teen years.

Responsible for facilitating transformation as a way of life in every interaction with clients, donors, volunteers and paid staff. Transformation as a way of life is a personal growth philosophy unique to Shakti Rising that leveraged every relationship interaction to expand the service capacity of each individual involved. The primary mission is to improve communities by developing health and leadership in women and girls while teaching them how to build strong communities, beginning with their own families, by passing on the sustainability and healing practices of the organization.

Medium-sized (4000 employees) defense contracting firm specializing in laser technology employed for use in military situations with over 40 locations nationally, including project sites. Executive Assistant Executive assistant to the CIO of a small business that grew into a medium-sized business through three acquisitions. I became adaptable and flexible from the experience of working in an organization that was in constant cultural change. During my time at QNA, I worked under two CIOs with very different management styles. My role was a mix of Asset Control and Telecommunications Management in addition to the typical work of an executive assistant. The trend of acquisition continued beyond my end date and the organization is currently known as Vencore.
