About Allison Inouye
Hi! My name is Allison and I’m passionate about how biomedical engineering can transform lives by improving accessibility and quality of life. I am a third year at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo’s College of Engineering majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Mechanical Design. With Clinical Engineering experience, I gained critical experience in the health field engaging with the clinical and user perspectives of what makes medical devices most effective and meaningful as well as designing and realizing observed needs. My technical knowledge includes experience through various projects designing and testing a preventative NICU CPAP Belly device as well as co-directing Cal Poly Team Tech's Anatomical Heart Model Project.
