• Gathered data for a study on the adoption, maintenance, and diffusion of rain barrels, an issue which had not previously been studied• Assisted with creation of a survey which was sent to 600 individuals in Lafayette and Valparaiso, IN; administered interviews to 30 individuals in Valparaiso, IN.• Created a “best practice assessment” for rain barrels, measuring and indexing the quality of maintenance of a rain barrel. During my assistantship 400 rain barrels in Lafayette and Valparaiso, IN were analyzed using this assessment.

• Volunteer recruitment, social media, and event planning for the “Black & Gold & Green” football tailgate recycling program in 2012, successfully mobilizing 30 volunteers per game and achieving the highest recycling rate in Purdue's history at that time• Program manager of Eco-Reps @ Purdue from 2013-2015, a peer-to-peer sustainability education program that trains 15 student ambassadors in 8 of Purdue’s residence halls• Supported the office’s other initiatives, including AASHE STARS sustainability reporting, a weekly farmer’s market, and campus-wide sustainability celebration events
