I managed the brand of Citytv for the news and breakfast television local shows. It was my job to create a personality of the shows in television produced promos and inspire the public to watch the shows. Writer/Producer/Director of both the brand of CityTv and also of any clients that needed a promotional or contest commercial.I liasoned between the sales person and the editors and camera men to create the image and feel of the campaign I conceptualized.The final productions were always on time. As a writer/producer/director and On Air Talent, I worked on many sports series productions including Hockey Academy *Featuring Craig Simpson, Canadian Rodeo Tour (Where I toured and interview cowboys all across Western Canada), and Canadian Finals Rodeo. Reporting directly to Marilyn Riddell, my expertise was in directing talent and cameras to capture an emotional connection. A sense of humor was required to deal with the long days on the road and wearing multiple hats to get the television series produced and to air on SportsNet, Outdoor Life network and CBC television.The joy to me was learning on every project. For example, I knew nothing about rodeo before being ask to write/produce/direct and host the Canadian Rodeo Tour show. I poured myself into it with enthusiasm and a thirst for knowledge which translated into a fun, dangerous, and magnificent series on the cowboy way and the heart of the competitors that put their lives on the line at every event.Insight sports was Aquila productions when I first started working there in 2011 and then was purchased by Insight sports 2 years later.
