Worked closely with highly regarded researchers in the Fishery Sciences field helping with data collection, data entry, and serving as a museum curator in the Burke Museum Fish Collection.• Research: Contributed to a paper under review for publication by processing over 3000 research articles and analyzing the results using statistical analysis and ANOVA techniques.• Fish Collection: Prepared thousands of specimens for placement in the collection, helped to restructure the entire collection, and worked to promote the museum in community outreach events.

Worked with scientists in the Alaska Fishery Science Center division researching skate species from the Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska.• Produced a publication-quality manuscript and poster detailing evidence from research supporting the separation of the currently documented three species of skates into four species.• Presented poster at the 2012 Western Groundfish Conference and in front of a panel of researchers.
