-Planned and delivered curriculum instruction in Grade 4 Language (100 minutes daily), Grade 3 Mathematics (60 minutes daily), Grade 1 and 3 Media Literacy (20 minutes weekly), and Resource computer skills training (40 minutes daily)-Integrated culturally-relevant material into daily instruction and practice-Accommodated and modified instruction, expectations and assessment methods for students on Individual Education Plans-Provided staff and students with ongoing information technology support and SMARTBoard/Promethean Board training and maintenance

-Instructed classes from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8, including Special Education withdrawal support-Total class hours equalled approximately 130 hours

I instructed a class comprised of seven students with a range of physical, developmental and behavioural exceptionalities, including autism, cerebral palsy, ADHD, and mild intellectual delays. I also planned lessons for all class members with a focus on differentiated instruction, and helped to foster an inclusive classroom community conducive to student success.

I planned and delivered lessons in Maths, Language, Social Studies, Science and Art. I established and maintained a positive, professional rapport with students and staff. I employed effective classroom management strategies to promote a safe and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
