I find joy in helping individuals and organizations realize their philanthropic vision, empowering them to make impactful gifts of support in order to transform the world.After years of rapidly advancing in the retail world, I discovered my passion for philanthropy, channeling my expertise in relationship building, team management, concierge client service and strategic, entrepreneurial leadership. After managing a hospice volunteer program and embarking on my graduate degree at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, my development career took off. I organized an international convention in West Africa for ARNOVA and the Ford Foundation and authored book chapters for Giving USA, diversifying my skillset in key areas like large-scale event planning, evidence-based fundraising practices, foundation relations and executive communication. Joining Northeast Arc, I transformed its fundraising program and built inclusive, trust-based relationships with donors and partners across the agency. In my recent work, I strengthened relationships with donors who make 7-figure, 8-figure, and 9-figure gifts to Massachusetts General Hospital. Throughout my fundraising career, I have built experience working across the full range of development functions, exercising my managerial skills including strategic planning, team development and engagement, process improvement, project management and data-driven decision-making while continuing to craft high-impact philanthropic strategies, communications, and experiences for principal and major gift donors and funders.I have always had an accelerated path, earning unwavering trust and greater responsibility than expected of my position and tenure in every job I have held.
