I am a graduate student at Xavier University pursuing a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My goal is to eventually get my LPCC-S to take a leadership role in the mental health field to empower other mental health professionals to their true potential and assist others in need. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati and received a BA in Psychology. My current occupation is a senior care manager for Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services where I provide individualized, client-centered services to adults struggling with chronic mental illness and help them improve their quality of life. I am on a moderate LOC team, and I provide care management services to over 50 clients. I have 16+ years of customer service experience as well as 8 months of managerial experience. I also have experience as a group facilitator.From working with the public and pursuing a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I have developed necessary skills to succeed in my future career such as collaboration, leadership, responsibility, organization, adaptability, public speaking, empathy, conflict resolution, and time management.
