As a Cleveland Clinic Patient Financial Services Customer Service Representative III, I recommend and execute policies and procedures in conjunction with my supervisors to ensure timely and accurate resolution of patient billing issues. I provide written and verbal responses to patients regarding their concerns about insurance explanation of benefits and Cleveland Clinic billing statements. During my time I have resolved issues related to registration, financial clearance, insurance company authorization requirements, billing, EOBs, provider based billing, governmental requirements, HCAP/FAP policies and restrictions, MyAccout, coding and collections. I communicate with patients while multi tasking multiple computer systems to investigate, resolve and document patient inquiries. I also offer payment options and process payments as needed. During my time in PFS customer service I have worked on VIP accounts solving issues before they get to the patient, and spent time working on the payment plan project which insured patient satisfaction and account accuracy. I am an active member of the Customer Service Peer Advocacy Team. Four months after I was hired at CCF I began training representatives new to our customer service team of caregivers. I attended the “Peer Mentor Training Class” and was named “Customer Service Employee of the Month” after a short nine months with Cleveland Clinic. At one year, I was named "Employee of the Quarter."

At this position, I am responsible for planning and implementing day to day activities. I take attendance, and prepare the children for the day ahead. I communicate with parents about upcoming “special events” and progress throughout the summer. We have three activities in the morning, and four in the afternoon. Hawken Day Camp is a “sports camp” so I am responsible for teaching the campers the basics of the sports in which we play along with being a part of a team and having proper sportsmanship. We also have other activity times such as nature and cooking. As a senior counselor, I am also accountable for the training and supervision of the junior counselors and counselors in training. At the end of the camp season I create a “report card” and award for each camper in my group, along with an evaluation of my junior counselors and counselors in training.

At this position I was responsible for cleaning and maintaining cleanliness of homes and offices. Each house and office had specific cleaning guidelines and requirements.
