In February 2018 I was promoted from my Marketing Coordinator position to Digital Marketing Specialist after receiving the Professional Certified Marketer, Digital Marketing certification from the American Marketing Association (AMA PCM).

- Digital marketing: Created email marketing campaigns, updated the Wordpress blog, managed social media accounts, updated the website, using Google Analytics to analyze site performance for both the blog and company website. - Coordinated award submissions. Gathering content and designing assets that will help tell the visual story of the projects.- Helped to plan events and parties, including creating graphic assets such as invitations and banners.- Coordinated with photographers for project photography.- Used graphic design experience to provide design support for RFPs and DRB books and presentations.

During my time as a freelance graphic designer, I worked with small businesses to design brand identities, web banners, print marketing materials, and website layouts. I grew professionally through my freelance practices by working closely with small business owners. It was a great opportunity to learn how to work with a client to envision their needs and help them achieve their goals. I've maintained lasting relationships with my clients as it's been so rewarding to see their business grow and succeed through a mutual collaboration. Snapverse was a music based app for iPhone that allowed users to create their own music videos and share their creations with their friends and followers. As the Digital Marketing Coordinator, I worked remotely with a team that was located in various locations around the country. I helped to develop the company's social media presence, worked with the Creative Director to design UI/UX templates for the app, and coordinated with the LA-based PR firm to discover and amplify media opportunities.

MPGear was an e-commerce company based in Mercer Island, WA. It was also the parent company to TinyTrekker.com and CyclocrossRacing.com. During my time as the Online Marketing Coordinator, I managed all digital marketing efforts for the three brands. The most valuable lesson I learned from this position was how to manage an email marketing list that includes over 20,000 subscribers.Additional duties included:- Working with the affiliate manager to design and analyze web banners for our affiliate network to increase our website's traffic and increase conversions.- Maintaining the company's WordPress blog by developing a content strategy to create relevant and original content related to the outdoor industry.- Built and maintained MPGear's social media presence by creating a brand personality that was consistent with MPGear's visions and to create brand awareness via Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. - Optimizing MPGear newsletter in the email marketing platform by designing eye-catching banners, promoting sales and tracking conversions and other email statistics to ensure optimal email reach. - Working in the MPGear e-commerce content management system to keep the inventories updated and merchandise the site for high conversion rates.- Utilize industry SEO techniques for optimal search engine rankings.- Tracked the MPGear Google Analytic's to analyze visitor trends and help improve and analyze the site's traffic.

After college, I took a leap of faith and moved across the country from New Jersey to Seattle. Twilight Artist Collective offered me my first opportunity to put my graphic design and marketing skills to use. I jumped right in helping the owners create a new email marketing template that increased click-through rates, designing web materials, and helping to merchandise the shop. Additionally, this is where my passion for social media began to grow. Helping Twilight create content for their followers and seeing the positive response from the West Seattle community was rewarding.
