As the Assistant Principal of Cherry Hill High School West, Allison Staffin currently handles a wide range of administrative and educational responsibilities. With a focus on the design and implementation of the school's curriculum, Ms. Staffin supervises and evaluates classroom teachers, advises and mentors students, and serves on several developmental committees. In addition to hiring and training new teachers and various staff members, Allison Staffin organizes monthly department meetings, develops school community service programs, and coordinates school testing and final exam schedules. Furthermore, she manages all Title I-based federal grant and financial assistance programs. For the past two summers, she has used Title I funds to create and maintain the Summer Transition Academy, an enrichment program designed to help students struggling with math and English. Prior to her role as Assistant Principal, Allison Staffin headed the school's building operations and served as a Budget Administrative Intern. From 2002 to 2004, she oversaw building maintenance, handled all building work orders, and supervised the custodial and grounds crew. In this capacity, she successfully coordinated the installation of a new school phone system and developed emergency evacuation procedures. Concurrent with her building administrative duties, Allison Staffin continued to serve as a Secondary Social Studies Teacher and taught at a variety of educational levels. Allison Staffin graduated with a Master's degree in Management from Thomas Edison State College in 2004. From 1987 to 1991, she attended Glassboro State College where she studied education and completed a Bachelor of Arts in History. Currently certified to teach both elementary and secondary classes, Allison Staffin has also completed graduate-level courses in communications and public relations at Rowan University.
