“Champions keep playing until they get it right.” - Billie Jean KingPlaying sports led me to a world-class education where I could compete and learn. After playing volleyball, I discovered the tech startup scene in Atlanta. That entrepreneurial environment helped me acquire various skills that I could eventually apply to my big idea - which came when I started playing tennis. Now I’m blessed to work in an industry with partners all striving towards the same goal of growing the game. My mission is to create programs and products that encourage recreational play and fandom with the vision that tennis continues to thrive into the next generation. Family owned and operated since 1976, it continues to grow, currently with nine full-service stores in the metro area.I work directly with the founder to run marketing and events. I am responsible for our community outreach and work with working with hundreds of on-court coaching professionals to manage our referral rewards program. Additionally, I run our social media channels, producing content and growing audience. My focus to increase the number of customers that visit our stores, while providing the best customer service.

    Atlanta is the largest market for adult recreational tennis players in the world. Besides the weather being conducive to year-around play, the access to courts is unprecedented. As the city grew and its transient residence sprawled to the suburbs to plant roots, most newly constructed neighborhoods - even modest ones - built tennis courts to be competitive in the booming real estate market. And, since everyone was new to town, neighborhood tennis teams became the social scene with various league structures built to support it.Those league structures have not been updated since. And, the next generation is not getting married, having kids, and moving to the suburbs to discover the sport at the rate they once were. Before the pandemic, membership was on the decline as players aged out of the game, couldn't make the time commitment, or got frustrated with common hassles. So, TENNIS LADY's Wine-Down Wednesday league was created with a faster format and focus on fun as a way to keep players playing and introduce the sport to new players.
