As an Independent Consultant with the Virtual Global Consultant Group, LLC, I coordinated directly with offshore Software Developers to create, maintain, enhance, and test new proprietary mobile applications. In this position, I fulfilled the roles of Product and Quality Assurance manager to ensure each application adhered to the required quality standards. Additionally, I collaborated with the Marketing team and graphic designers to produce commercials and social media campaigns to increase end-user engagement and growth of the software applications.

LocalContender is a software company which provides an online mobile-first platform aimed at making running for local office easier and less costly. While consulting at LocalContender, I interviewed current New York State and local politicians. I also met with local candidates running for government office and local boards to gather information regarding the campaign process. I identified and documented the technical functionality needed to improve the campaign process.

As Project Manager for the Media Technology team, I managed a cross-functional team responsible for creating and delivering proprietary software applications aimed at streamlining business tasks and processes. I facilitated information gathering sessions with business stakeholders including executive management to identify pain points, outline business requirements and obtain sign-off. Part of my daily role consisted of working closely with developers and UX designers in the United States and abroad throughout the software development lifecycle to maintain clear and consistent communication ensuring client needs were met. I also conducted weekly team status meetings to prioritize tasks, review and monitor the progress and resource allocations ensuring deliverables were completed on time. In addition to my role as Project Manager, I worked closely with the Senior Vice President of the Client Accounting team to analyze and document the specific detailed business processes to be implemented for every client. Ensured all rules and client requirements were captured and incorporated into the team's procedures.

In my role as Business Consultant, I worked on major initiatives across the agency to develop new software applications as well as improve, streamline and document business processes. I oversaw the creation and implementation of an intranet designed to increase cross-agency collaboration and information sharing. I also oversaw the development of a Training and Certification Program aimed at increasing employee application proficiency.

As an IT Consultant for the Media Technology team, I was responsible for working with the team tasked to complete a major agency initiative to design, develop and implement a Media Management System to facilitate the Latin American buying process. I oversaw the development of in-house applications to streamline, automate and/or eliminate manual tasks for media Planning/Buying teams.

Managed all phases of the product release process, including needs assessment, requirements gathering, user interface design, quality assurance and documentation. Led product team consisting of developers, business analysts, quality assurance analysts, UI designer and technical writer. Directed weekly multi-location cross-functional team meetings in tracking project timelines and milestones.

Created detailed functional requirement documents and use cases, tested new features and defect fixes.
