Key Accomplishments Thus Far:- Designed and assisted in implementing an updated time off and availability request process for the entire Ops Producer population, encompassing several employment classification types and policy requirements.

In this role, I supported the 130+ ROE (Remote Operations Employee) contractual operators within ESPNs Remote Production Operations. Primary responsibilities included: - Reviewing and processing requests for personal time, as well as ensuring requests to work for other clients were vetted for any potential internal schedule conflict(s).- Working with in-house sport groups to ensure necessary ROEs were held and scheduled appropriately for projected individual assignments and/or season-long crew packages where applicable.- Being the main point of contact for the entire population via email or phone. - Tracking the total number of days of work completed, scheduled, or projected for each operator, and taking appropriate action if needed to ensure contractual obligations for each operator were met.- Crewed operators to work out of ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex out of Orlando, FL.- Scheduling Graphics operators to work remote events live-from-home, in addition to ensuring all equipment and software was up to date prior to engagement.- Maintaining the various data sheets within Smartsheet to support the population. Key Accomplishments:- Redesigned the time off request process for the population using Smartsheet, increasing efficiency and accuracy while automating the majority of steps, eliminating the need for the number of team members supporting this process 5 to 2.- Recognized an error within the scheduling system causing state tax data to be reported incorrectly and took immediate, actionable steps to not only identify and revert inaccurate data, but to implement workflows to eliminate errors moving forward.- Developed a new system of scheduling mid-year and EOY reviews for the entire population, then performed the majority of reviews independently.- Identified necessary steps for this specific population to request medical leave, and became the main point of contact with the Global HR team to ensure all parties were compliant and kept up to date.

I was the senior member of the Remote Operations Third Party Resource Team. This team is responsible for managing the multiple personnel populations that fall under the ESPN Remote Production Operations third party hires including, but not limited to, day count tracking, personnel troubleshooting, invoice payment, and database coordination. Remote Operations currently uses three different payroll vendors which all have different usage processes and procedures; CAPS, Ming, and Broadleaf. I was the lead support contact for my department's in-house and remote Operations Coordinators and Producers regarding CAPS. Ming and Broadleaf responsibilities are shared by the team. I used my experience to discuss initiatives in collaboration with our sister department, Production Operations, in order to pinpoint stresses and suggest solutions and efficiencies to improve all of our teams' workflows. The Third Party Resource Team is an ever-evolving team for which I was at the helm since it's inception. I took pride in helping my senior leaders create and maintain policies and procedures, seek consistent improvements to streamline workflows and processes, and ensuring my team members were comfortable and thriving with the many fluctuations this team brought. - Reviewed and approved timecards for a specific group of Remote Operations Employees. - Worked on streamlining the time off request process for the ROEs including but not limited to vacation time, personal days, medical leave, and non-ESPN work. - Implemented and maintained a system for tracking CA Meal Premiums for the entire ROE population in accordance with company policy and CA state statutes. - Monitored all missed meal breaks for the entire ROE population which included working with multiple remote and in-house groups in order to get the premiums approved and/or timecards updated when not approved. - Ensured personal availability for any Operations Producer, Operations Manager, or Director to answer any questions regarding policies and rules regarding the entire ROE population. - On-site experience included: NBA Draft Lottery, LLWS Williamsport, MNF, and Super Bowl 50.
