She has worked in leadership roles at the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, Green For All, The Business Alliance for Local Living Economies, East Bay College Fund, Living the Next Economy, and the Center for Transformative Action. Chagi-Starr has a BA in Cultural Organizing from UC Berkeley/New College of CA and an MBA from Mills College’s Lorry I. Lokey School of Business and Public Policy, where her studies focused on impact innovation, social entrepreneurship, marketing, and organizational design.As a social impact communications professional, cultural organizer, and diversity, equity, and inclusion strategist, Chagi-Starr works with organizations, businesses, and community leaders to develop and amplify the impact of initiatives at the intersection of social, economic, and environmental justice.
