Intergen is a primary provider of Electronic Content Management as a Service (ECMaaS) to the NZ Government. Manager Record Services manages the records services function and records management programme for Victoria University Wellington; so as to ensure records are created, maintained and disposed in accordance with legislative requirements and best practice. The scope is university wide and includes all University records regardless of format, location and age.

With Solid Energy my duties have focused on delivering information management outcomes with SharePoint 2010. This has included developing a framework to use the intranet as a document management centre. My work has also focused on promoting greater use and buy in along with supporting IM principles on the various sites comprising the Solid Energy intranet and extranet.

With the DIA my role focused on the systems design stream of the recordkeeping improvement program. This involved working towards identifying priority DIA systems for recordkeeping analysis under assessment tools and methods based on ICA-Req modules. The strategic aim of this work was to imbed recordkeeping and information management considerations into the systems design lifecycle process, so as to enable smarter and more strategic records management within the organization.

My primary tasks centred on providing records management advice and support for an open text eDocs, EDRMS package. Aside from the maintenance of the system itself, my role also focused on generating buy in so as to encourage improved records management within the council, something which I enjoyed greatly. In order to achieve this I have delivered training courses for staff, along with giving troubleshooting support to staff as they use the system. During my time with NPDC I took part in a number of team building initatives and completed a 160km ultra marathon as a fund raiser for the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal.
