Ally Hoffman is an Assistant Vice President in Banking Supervision at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. She is responsible for overseeing the supervision of capital markets activities, surveillance of banking conditions in the Eleventh District, and implementing supervisory policy.Since joining the Dallas Fed in 2019, Hoffman has served in various leadership roles throughout the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and Federal Reserve System. In 2021 and 2022, she supported the Federal Reserve's supervision of cryptocurrencies and novel banking activities. In 2023, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell recognized Hoffman's work by presenting her with the William Taylor Award, Banking Supervision’s most prestigious honor.Prior to joining the Federal Reserve, Hoffman worked at EY, where she specialized in financial services and technology consulting. She is also a lecturer in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University.She holds a BS from Boston University, an MS from Northeastern University and a PhD from Oklahoma State University.
