I am a current Junior at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I am a pre-nursing major and will be applying for nursing school at UAB in March of 2024. In high school, I successfully managed to complete the NHA CPCT/A exam to receive my certification. I did let it expire but I am working on taking the test again here soon to get it back.Since being in college, I have had two jobs. I was a keyholder at Francesca's and a babysitter through the Wyndy app. Francesca's taught me different skills such as; Connecting with customers, being able to be a leader when a manager was not present, and how to do tasks in a timely manner. Babysitting, I have been able to work with wonderful families who have trusted me to take care of their kids while they were away. This job has taught me how to handle difficult situations with kids, manage and take care of needs, and how to efficiently discuss concerns with parents.
